Description Of Work:
Window treatments for complete remodel of house in 2004, including motorized shades for one 14 ft window and two 8 ft windows, shades for 4 additional 8 ft windows and verticals for 4 other 8 ft windows. We later used the organization for a motorized, horizontal black out curtain and for several jobs on apartment units. The results and the service have always been excellent, We will continue to use them on any similar jobs that come up. We have also called on the organization for maintenance and repair even of treatments installed by others, with similar results.
Member Comments:
The organization was recommended to us. We interviewed the owner, as well as other organizations. This organization, unlike others, was responsive to what we wanted, not what they wanted to sell. They researched what was available, offered exactly what we were looking for, offered a fair price, resolved problems that arose with a supplier and did a neat and clean installation that serves our needs perfectly.

Description Of Work:
Steve installed drapes for the windows that overlook the street, which are about 30 feet wide. He also installed drapes for my sliding door and the roman shades for my kitchen window. The sliding door's drapes were held up by a rod and rings, while the other drapes were installed behind the molding with a pulley system and wands. They work perfectly and I am very pleased with the results. All of my friends have commented on how beautiful they are and I smile and say thank you.
Member Comments:
I called and left messages for multiple companies inquiring about drapes and roman shades. Steve called me back the next morning and we made an appointment for the same week. I had a few people come to my condo and show me samples and give me quotes. Steve was by far the least expensive and yet he was the most attentive. I picked a few samples that I liked and Steve mailed them to my office so I could see the real swatches in a larger size that were cut directly from the factory. I didn’t like them as much as I thought I did so he came back with more books and we tried again. I picked the exact color I wanted and he ordered the fabric. Steve had wonderful ideas about hiding the top of the curtains behind the molding, being able to open the shades from the middle and both sides, since they are large enough that half my apartment is windowed, and so on. My mother is an interior designer and she joined in one of the meetings and she was very happy with how Steve presented his ideas and options. I then picked the rod thickness, the end caps, the colors, how long the drapes were going to be, the pleats, the break on the ground, etc. I felt in full control and that really helped me be comfortable with what I was buying. When the materials were in, Steve set the appointment for installation and installed the entire living room and kitchen drapes in a matter of a few hours. I paid him and with a smile we both shook hands and thanked each other. He was amazing and I would seriously recommend him to anyone I ever meet who wants drapes or any sort of window coverings.

Description Of Work:
I have used Los Angeles Windows for draperies and shades in 3 different homes. From 10 foot french silk draperies to linen roman shades, they were all perfect! Steve is extremely punctual, knowledgeable, and the prices are very competitive! The assortment of fabrics and hardware that he has access to are top of the line. With a designers eye, he offers great direction WITHOUT the designer price! I wouldn't use anyone else!

From start to finish the process was painless! Los Angeles Windows is quality, quick, and affordable.

Description Of Work:
Installed blackout roller shades in three rooms, including trim
Member Comments:
I was referred to Steve by my interior designer. I needed some blackout shades in three upstairs children's bedrooms and wasn't sure if I wanted simple vinyl pulls, or fancier custom roman shades. Steve came in with a decent look book and more importantly, great ideas about what would look great and remain cost effective. After discussing my needs, he advised me against cheap-quality vinyl shades and directed me towards a thicker quality vinyl that almost looks like fabric. We agreed that the vinyl shades could still look nice in the bedrooms and decided to forgo the expense of custom roman shades, a decision I couldn't be happier with. He suggested adding a nice fabric valance at a later date (which I have yet to do!). Steve also suggested that we use a trim on the shade itself, which he professionally glued on and which gave the shades a finished, clean look. Overall, Steve delivered as promised, on schedule and on budget (and he left my house unscathed!). I'd use him again in a heartbeat.

Steve made two pairs of curtains for my guest bedroom.

Steve brought many fabric samples on two separate trips. He searched for the perfect rods. The curtains were finished in a few weeks and and installation was great. The curtains look beautiful.
